Every Thursday in July and August at 5 P.M., Reykjavík City Library hosts a guided crime story walk in downtown Reykjavík. The walk is free of charge and no booking is needed, guests can just show up at the library in Tryggvagata 15 (very close to the Tourist Information Centre in Adalstraeti).

This fun walk, which lasts about an hour and a half, takes us through the downtown area at an easy pace where Icelandic crime fiction is introduced at locations relevant to the stories. Among authors that come into play are Arnaldur Indridason, Yrsa Sigurdardottir and Árni Thorarinsson, as well as other authors of Reykjavik based crime stories.
