The poem Hefurðu horft? (Have You Watched?) in ICE-FLOE (Vol. I, No.2: 2000: 138-139).
Have You Watched?
Have you watched the grasses the breeze bends,
have you watched the bare ridges, the weak sprigs,
the empty lakes
and the faraway pillars of lava, some still piled with snow?
This morning the grasses drink the rain
and you drink the land
on your walk.
